Meet Alora (OTA)

Alora Hiscock
Occupational Therapy Assistant

Alora was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario. She earned her diploma in Occupational Therapy Assisting and Physiotherapy Assisting from Niagara College in 2018. In 2025, she completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Brock University. Additionally, Alora volunteers at Brock University in the Neurocognitive Aging Lab and with Big Brothers Big Sisters Canada.

Alora has been a dedicated rehab assistant since 2018, bringing her expertise and compassion to her role. She has also served as an Occupational Therapy Assistant with children since 2023, using a person-centred approach and evidence-based practices to meet her clients where they are. Her skills attained from the competitive university life and multiple environments she has been exposed to and worked within have defined the Rehabilitation Assistant she is. She strives to improve the quality of care and work she produces consistently.

 

Alora is committed to lifelong learning and has completed training and workshops such as:

  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention 

  • Oncology for Fitness Professionals 

  • The Canadian Fall Prevention Curriculum

  • Solution-Focused Coaching With Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital​
