Emma Nusca (She/Her/Hers)

Occupational Therapist

Emma is a Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Emma completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Studies at Brock University then continued to pursue her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Western University in 2020. Emma is continuing her passion for learning and will be finishing her Bachelor of Education at Western University to become a teacher in December 2025.

As an Occupational Therapist, Emma has experience working with pediatric populations in school, community and private practice environments. Emma is passionate about development of handwriting and fine motor skills, self-regulation strategies, and increasing independence during activities of daily living (ADLs). Emma has engaged in professional development including, B.E.S.T Strategies framework for supporting Sensory Processing, Handwriting Difficulties, and is familiar with Handwriting without Tears, Zones of Regulation, and SOS Approach to Feeding programs. Emma prides herself on ensuring a strengths-based approach to support pediatric populations to reach their full potential.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys coaching competitive gymnastics, taking her dog for walks and doing quiet activities involving reading and puzzles.
